The foot of this bowl has a keyhole fit into its base which has been sculpted to look like a rock with a thin coat of lacquer to create shadow. The Bowl has a blue celadon glaze with accents of white and gold on top of the heavily slipped surface. Because of the soft porcelain slip texture the celadon pools and creates color giving the appearance of water in a shallow frozen form.
