This sculpture represents an abundant collection of mechanical imagery through both the ornamentation and the abstract ceramic objects. Factories and methods of production have changed over time, and for this reason the importance of the hand has been overlaid with the ongoing effects of industrialization. As a result, there has been a change in the appearance and feel of a variety of objects kept in daily life.
