"Foundations"
Copper, Glass, Plastic
2' x 2' x 6'

The infrastructure used to sustain the computer age has evolved through time and material. As our networks of information grow, the structures used to hold and support them disappear. Cyberspace is, after all, a world void of physical contact. Even the data centers that create the real world functioning platforms for these processes are unmarked and ambiguous, seemingly invisible to our needs. For these reasons, the composition of this sculpture moves through three different cubes of copper, glass, and plastic; loosing its structure as it grows taller, but increasing its density of pattern and light.
